How does ISO 27701 relate to the national law for Batam firms?

The national law sets obligations such as records, notices, rights handling and impact assessment, and has no certificate. ISO 27701 gives a recognised structure for evidence of those practices. Using it can reduce preparation effort, but compliance remains a legal question for your counsel and the competent agency.
