Sterling has 20+ years of experience as a company, and its people bring 30+ years of experience in management systems and compliance. Every engagement follows the same method, Sterling OS™, under one of two alternative support levels: Design™, where Sterling develops the system and your team implements it under expert advice and supervision, or Drive™, where Sterling designs and builds it under your approval as a fully managed service. Effivity, the GRC platform used in 50+ countries, is included at no additional cost, and Sterling Academy trains your people. Sterling is a consulting firm. It does not certify, attest, accredit or validate: certificates come from accredited certification bodies, SOC reports from independent service auditors, and accreditation from accreditation bodies. That separation is what gives a certificate its value to your customers, and the trust centre explains how anyone can check a certificate with the body that issued it, including one held by a Sterling client.

About Sterling
Three questions buyers ask before they engage a consultant.
Is Sterling a certification body?
No. Sterling is a consulting firm that prepares organisations for certification, attestation, accreditation and compliance. Certificates are issued by accredited certification bodies, SOC reports by independent service auditors and accreditation by accreditation bodies; Sterling helps you choose one and prepares you for its audit, but does not take part in its decision.
What does the Sterling Promise commit to?
The Sterling Promise means continued support until the agreed scoped outcome is achieved. The scope, the outcome and the support level are agreed in the proposal before work starts, and the Sterling Promise page explains what each commitment means, how it is kept and what it does not cover.
How long has Sterling been working in ISO and GRC?
