Sterling OS™
Sterling OS™: your compliance journey, one connected system: video
A one-minute film on how every Sterling engagement runs, from implementation to the years after certification, under one method and one all-inclusive proposal.
Key takeaways
- Sterling OS™ is one method for every standard, framework and integrated system.
- Design™ is guided implementation; Drive™ is fully managed implementation.
- Automate™ runs the system in Effivity from the first workshop.
- Sustain™ keeps the system working after the outcome; Revise™ handles change.
- Each stage has named deliverables, decision owners and a weekly working session.
One operating model behind every engagement
Sterling OS™ is the way Sterling runs every engagement, whatever the standard or framework. It brings five service brands together under one method: Design™ or Drive™ to implement, Automate™ to run the system in Effivity, Sustain™ to keep the outcome in place, and Revise™ when the standard, the scope or the systems change. The same model applies to any ISO management system standard, to attestation readiness programmes and to integrated systems, with one engagement team and one all-inclusive proposal.
This one-minute film gives an overview of that model. It is useful before a discovery call, to understand what an engagement involves, or when comparing providers whose methods are less visible.
Because the method is the same for every standard, an organisation adding a second or third standard later meets the same stages, deliverables and decision owners it already knows.
How the five parts fit together
Sterling OS™ is not five separate contracts. It is one engagement with a lifecycle. It starts with the scope and support level: the standard or framework, the activities, sites and headcount, what the customer, tender or regulator expects, and a gap analysis against every requirement. Then the organisation chooses its level of support. Design™ suits teams that can implement under expert supervision, with Sterling's structure, templates, workshops and coaching. Drive™ suits organisations that want the agreed consulting and documentation work fully managed by Sterling consultants.
Automate™ runs underneath from the first workshop, so the system is built in Effivity rather than copied into it later. Once the outcome is achieved, Sustain™ keeps records, audits and reviews moving, so the system outlives the audit. Revise™ steps in whenever something changes: a revised edition, a new site, a new standard or a new client requirement. Each stage has named deliverables, decision owners and a weekly working session with the engagement team.
Sterling does not certify. Certification bodies, CPA firms and assessors make their own independent decisions; Sterling OS™ is how organisations are prepared for them and supported afterwards.
