QMS Consultant – ISO 9001

You design, implement and strengthen quality management systems to ISO 9001:2026 for manufacturing, service and technology clients — from gap assessment to a system the client's people actually use. You also lead ISO 9001:2026 transition work for clients certified to the 2015 edition.

• Run gap assessments and build the implementation plan
• Define process maps, risk-based thinking, objectives and performance measures with the client's process owners
• Write and tailor the documented information the system needs — no more than it needs
• Train process owners and internal auditors
• Conduct internal audits and management-review preparation
• Prepare the client for its certification and surveillance audits and support corrective action afterwards
• Contribute QMS content to Effivity and the Sterling Academy

• ISO 9001 lead auditor certification
• A track record of ten or more completed ISO 9001 consulting or audit projects, ideally across more than one sector
• Proven QMS documentation development and implementation
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2026 changes
• The ability to explain quality management in business language, not clause numbers
• Flawless English, strong training delivery, degree in engineering, science or management
